Important Events Info
All events shown on this page are split into two categories: those available for
Tasting Aficionados credit towards rewards and those that are not. There are also
opportunities for extra credit for special events and out of town tasting trips. Extra
credit is given on a case by case basis and must be approved ahead of time. Please
feel free to email us with any questions about events and extra credit.
2008 Events For Credit
Tasting Aficionados Bar at the Davis Graduate
This Friday and every Friday, come and support the Tasting Aficionados Bar at the
Davis Graduate. Hours of operation are 6:30-9pm. During the hours of operation
all of our tequilas are available in flights (3 tequilas) for sampling. The price for
flights are as low as $10. Each event includes rewards credit for up to 3 tequilas.
In order to keep our bar up and running we need your support. I hope to see you
all for another fun filled Friday this week and for many weeks to come.
Open Bottle Tasting
August (actual date to be announced later)
This event will be limited to 15 people max

Las Vegas Tequila Fest
(5 Extra Credit points per day and an additional 5 points per day for
wearing your Tasting Aficionados Shirt)
September 12th and 13th
We have 20 tickets per day for our members (Please let me know if you would like to
reserve tickets for the event). A few of you attended last year and this year is
expected to be even better. In addition to tasting numerous products and meeting
aficionados, there are numerous learning opportunities as well. As if all the Tequila
Fest events were not enough, there are also some private events in the works.
More details to follow but I can say that there will be at least one private tasting for
our group members. This is guaranteed to be an amazing weekend. For more

PocoTequila.com Lobster Bus III
(5 Extra Credit points for attending and an additional 5 points for wearing
your Tasting Aficionados Shirt)
September 14th starting at 10am and lasting most of the day
A few of you attended last year. This year I have a feeling I will see a lot more of you. In
addition to the stuff listed on PocoTequila.com there are many added surprises. Last year
there was a truck full of tequila that met us at the restaurant. The truck was packed with rare
gems and one of our members managed to catch a ride while searching through the boxes.
Also, after the dinner we went to a few stores in the town and another on the way back to
pick up additional bottles. At this price, it is not an event you want to miss. Not to mention,
you also get to meet one of our sponsors Guillermo E. Sauza and share some Los
